What are the chances that I took 3 pregnancy tests & all were positive, that they were wrong?
See, the thing is I took 3 tests and all were positive. My fiance and I are the happiest we could ever be. But what are the chances that they could be wrong? I would be so upset to find out that they were wrong. But if we took all of them, there really isn’t a way they could all three be wrong? We just don’t want to be upset if anything like that could possibly happen. Thanks for the answers.

You can have false negatives but not false positives.
i dont see how 3 could all be wrong. i’m told that you get more false negatives than positives, so if it says you’re pregnant, you are

Congratulations, you’re pregnant! If you get a positive then pregnancy hormone is in your system, so 3 positives definantly confirm it!

The chances that they were all wrong would be a miracle. There are false negatives all of the time. I would schedule with your dr. as soon as you can and while scheduling ask to have a blood test done. Congrats!!!

Chances are VERY slim that they are all wrong. Confirm by seeing your primary care physician, then you can truly be sure!

The chances that one would be wrong are slim enough, after 3 you are defintely pregnant! congratulations. Contact your doctor and get in for your first prenatal appt.!!
slim to none really; preg tests are designed to search for a hormone that is only released during pregnancy.. its possible for maybe one to show false positive if it is defective but to have 3 of them show positive… Good luck and it sounds as if congratulations are in order…
If it positive 3 times, then threr is a zero% chance that they are wrong, unless if you on pills that have the HcG hormone in them to get pregnant. I wish you the best of luck!!!

If you took all the pregnancy tests in the morning, that’s when you have the You should take the test with the first urine of the day. The first urine is the most accurate because you have all the pregnancy hormones called HCG.
When I was pregnant, I took one test the evening and it was negative, then I took another test in the morning and it was positive. Well the positive one was right.
zero chances….congratulations ! now call a ob/gyn to set up an appointment and they can do a blood test to confirm it.
False positives are very rare.

The only thing that could happen that would change this is a chemical pregnancy, one that IS an actual pregnancy but is lost very early (you start your period on time or a few days late after getting a positive result).

I agree that it would be too far fetched that 3 positives are wrong. Like the 1st post said: They say there false negitives but not false positives.
