Mumma to be is right, there will be a really small chance that you’ll have a miscarriage, its still possiblethough so don’t drink/smoke asthat would harm the baby, sadly people over 30 are more likely to miscarrry
The chances are actually less the younger you are. Being 17-19 you are also less likely to have the problems younger teenagers have as their bodies are not fully developed yet. Your likely to have a healthy pregnancy.
i think its 1 in 5 of all pregnancys end in miscarriage!
i miscarried my 1st at 18,fell pregnant 6 weeks later which i carried to full term, miscarried again at 19, fell pregnant at 20,carried to full term.
then miscarried again when i was 21 in the october 2008 and march 2009.
to me if its going to happen it will happen. doesnt make a difference how old or young you are.
Its more common isn’t it??
Doesn’t make a difference how old you are..
Sadly, your best child bearing years are under 30. Less chance for everything, including miscarriage.
So, I would say around age 18, you are at a mcuh LESS at risk of having a miscarriage then if you were older.
But you can have one at 16 or 25, or 40. All chance. And its actually about 1 in 5 pregnancies that end in miscarriage.. or 20%.
Hope that helps!
