Did anyone else have these early pregnancy symptoms?

I pretty sure I am 4 weeks pregnant. My period is a couple of days late now and my husband and I have been ttc. I don’t want to take a pregancy test for a couple more days so I can make sure it is accurate. I wondered if anyone else had had the same symptoms as me at this stage of pregnancy – short of breath (I am quite fit usually), unable to sleep properly even though I am really really tired, slight tummy cramps, forgetful, irritable, starving hungry, and every so often a little but nauseous. It would be great to hear from people at the same stage.
Thanks everyone! Fingers crossed.
Oh, and I forgot to say, my skin has broken out in spots all over my cheeks and I ususally have quite good skin.
Congratulations to all of you who are pregnant!

im 21 weeks and some of what you are describing i had. my sleep pattern was broken at night and all i wanted to do in the day was sleep. i felt like vomitting every 2 min. your describing shortness of breath, that doesnt really come into it till my stage i just started experiencing it. your uterus isnt big enough yet to move the other organs to press on your lungs.

    good luck xxx

They COULD be signs of pregnancy, but also, they could be signs of stress if you’re constantly thinking about it. Since every pregnancy is different it’s hard to tell exactly when symptoms will start, but there have been plenty of women who are ttc who psychologically trip themselves out to believe they’re pregnant and show signs earlier than normal whether they’re pregnant or not. The only way you’re really going to know for sure is by taking a test and going to see your doctor.

Well, I didn’t have too many “symptoms” and I found out when I was 4 weeks also. My main symptoms were very sore breast and nipples, slight cramping (felt like my period was going to come at any time) and extremely fatigued. BUT I had no problem sleeping at this point. I went to sleep at 7 or 8 every night and slept all through the night!

I started to get short of breath a little bit around 8 weeks. I was also getting more lightheaded and dizzy, but I have lower blood pressure and I just think that was because my body was getting used to the extra blood.

I got nauseous when I would eat a lot with a lot of water really fast. (say you are super hungry and eat too much too fast.) I only vomited like 2 or 3 times so far (I am 18 weeks now) but nausea didn’t start til about 8 weeks.

Remember, all women experience all things different. Some women experience all the symptoms all together, some don’t experience any. Good Luck!
