I know there is a chart at the doc’s office.

I ended up on bedrest during the end of my first pregnancy – so during the second, I wasn’t going to take any chances.

But I wanted to stay in shape, keep my muscles toned, and not gain too much weight. I started working out along with Sit and Be Fit, an exercise show on network television for seniors. Most of the exercising, both for arms and for legs, is done sitting, or they stand and hang onto the back of the chair for stretching.

It’s low-impact, with no chance of falling (as your center of gravity changes, that does become an issue), and if you have free-weights and ankle weights, you get a great workout.

And of course, there’s swimming, but you knew that. :)
